41 years ago this week - "Heavy Metal" the movie debuted. I was proud to work on this film, it was one of my 1st film art jobs.

Today, August 9 - Betty Boop made her 1st appearance in the 1930 cartoon "Dizzy Dishes". Created by animator Max Fleischer, she is one of the most recognizable cartoon characters in the world. I did this art for the Mid Atlantic Nostalgia Convention for their program cover.
